لوحه فنيه للرسام اسماعيل الشيخلي وقد ولد في منطقة باب الشيخ بغداد 1924 ودخل المدرسة وتنقل بين عدة مدارس منها العوينة ،التسابيل والبتاويين بغداد وأكمل دراسته في متوسطة الرصافة وحصل على دبلوم معهد الفنون الجميلة 1945-1948 وسافر إلى باريس لإكمال دراسته École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts عام 1951 وعمل مدرساً محاضراً في الإعدادية المركزية للبنين بعد التخرج للسنوات 1945 - 1946.
